Welcome to the Filamentos de Luz online space, I've started taking photos in the mid-1980s and since then I've been photographing regularly in a self-taught discovery process. Images have always fascinated me from an early age, it's normal, the eyes are the windows of our souls, the magic of light, the tonalities, the shapes that are revealed on surfaces, the time to appreciate and read the shadows and the mid-tones, the equipment mechanics, the recording media support, the alchemy of processing and developing, the texture of the paper and the recent quantum leap in technology that dematerialized almost everything, transforming the material world into our brave new world.

Photography is a plastic language par excellence, from macro-photography to micro-photography, from the human to the natural universe, fictional or documentary, montages and collages, with an enormous versatility.

I've always liked to explore and above all to have the freedom to look, which is actually a privilege these days.

The images presented here represent a tiny part of a particular universe, the narrow universe processed by me, I hope you like it.
